Any Good Neighborhoods Left?

A home buyer wrote that he is looking for a neighborhood that has lots of young families as well as an older mix. "A place where you see people outside walking and chatting. Does such a place exist in Richmond without having to live 10 miles out of town?? Oh yeah--low crime too!! Fan probably too $$."

The good news is that you can find this environment in most of the city's historic neighborhoods as well as some of the communities in the county. Get out of the car and walk these neighborhoods--the Museum District, Church Hill, Belview, Ginter Park, Woodland Heights, and Forrest Hill--just to name a few. Each of the city's neighborhoods has it own flavor and I am sure you will find a place that will meet your needs.
